ISO Management System Consultant – Surrey based
The Opportunity:
Brookfields Consultancy is delighted to be looking to recruit a permanent ISO management system consultant. The candidate must have practical experience of ISO Standards, have good attention to detail and strong communication skills.
The role will involve delivering consultancy support service to clients on their sites, and conducting audits, both remotely and on client sites.
Brookfields Consultancy is a growing owner-managed business, with an excellent reputation for helping companies achieve certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Brookfields also provides support with the continual improvement of clients’ management systems. The consultancy is recommended by the main UKAS certification bodies.
About the Role – you will:
- Be working with clients (either on their sites or remotely) helping them to implement effective management systems and gain certification
- Provide support and guidance to clients, not only in compliance, but identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Have the ability to understand ISO standards and relay in layman’s terms to clients
- Undertake internal audits
- Assist, prepare, and chair management review meetings
- Attend external certification audits
- Prepare audit reports
- Update legal registers
- Review both clients and Brookfields documents to ensure they are up to date
- Develop training materials and deliver training to clients
- Assist clients with requests to support their business
- Deal with general administration, including completing of Brookfields required records
Requirements – you need:
- To be lead auditor qualified
- At least two years of related work experience implementing integrated management systems compliant with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
- Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
- Excellent English (both written and spoken)
- To be capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- To live in a location that allows for commuting to Brookfields offices in Surrey and to client sites across London and the South East
- A valid full driving license and your own car
- Strong IT competence
‘Nice to haves’ but not essential:
- Health and Safety qualified (IOSH or NEBOSH)
- Environmental management qualified (IEMA or NEBOSH)
Workplace Flexibility:
The role is flexible around the consultancy projects and will involve both working from home, travel to Brookfields offices in Surrey and travel to client sites.
