Meet the Team
Meggan Polston-Edwards
Meggan began her career in catering management. After taking on responsibility for her employer’s compliance procedures, she discovered two things:
- That she understood it, was pretty good at it and enjoyed working through the activity
- That the whole implementation process filled most of her colleagues with dread.
This was the first inkling that here might be a service to offer. There are some areas of business that just don’t sit comfortably with some companies. Finding the time, and the appropriate team to put everything in place for a successful ISO implementation is often a real challenge.
Above all else, Meggan provides excellent service, whilst ensuring she and the team are:
- Passionate about Brookfields clients
- Take pride in the quality service they deliver
- Are insightful and proactive
- Conduct business with integrity and honesty.

Meggan spent several years building up a whole series of qualifications relating to all aspects of ISO certification and auditing. Meggan holds NEBOSH qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management. She is also a Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems). Originally she put these skills to work with her employers at the time, and then decided that she could provide a highly valuable consultancy to businesses across the UK and Europe.
When she’s not immersed in ISO, Meggan likes to give free rein to her secret skill – baking. She originally trained as a pastry chef and the one area she loved most was chocolate making. Now Meggan bakes for friends and family and often posts a photo or two on LinkedIn.
Most of the cooking, however, is done by Meggan’s husband John, who is a chef. With both of them sharing a passion for cooking, the kitchen is the heart of the Polston-Edwards household.
Meggan is a keen photographer and enjoys landscape and wildlife photography the most.
Ana Anes

Ana started her career in civil engineering, working in the Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) arena, and has over 15 years of national and international experience.
Similar to Meggan, Ana fell into ISO Management Systems. Her employer needed the certification, and assigned her the task. She found she liked and understood the work, and could see the benefit and value to the company, so it soon became the focus of her career.
As Ana says “ISO puts a management system in place that improves efficiency and helps people optimise their work. I understand how proactive ISO certification is in addressing the risks that affect a business.”
Ana holds not one, but two MSc degrees in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management, and Ergonomics. She believes in constant learning, and bringing that knowledge and inspiration to every project, using her experience to help clients to more easily achieve certification.
Ana is a huge fan of scuba diving and travel, and has taken the opportunity to dive across the world. She loves diving WW2 wrecks, like sunken ships in Egypt, and a U-boat wreck off Portugal. She has also swum with manta rays and a whale shark off the Socorro Islands, Mexico.

Emma Gaymer

Like Meggan, Emma’s route to ISO began in hospitality. She studied Hotel Management at the University of Surrey and worked in several world-renowned hotel chains. Emma applied her experience and went on to work in the UK and overseas for global brands, plus independent and new-to-market hotels.
She qualified as a Certified Lead Auditor, and as Emma says: “I’ve seen ISO deliver some amazing success stories. It provides great structure, ensures best practice, and delivers many benefits at all levels in the organisation. It makes the business accountable for quality and consistency, pushes up standards, and encourages development, growth and change.”
Emma has also studied many aspects of business management and promotion, especially sales and marketing. These additional skills help her to take a well-rounded approach to each client.
Emma is sporty and likes to keep active, playing lacrosse and tennis regularly. She is also an animal lover, who said dogs or cats – why not both!
Emma is happiest out in nature, which is down to her growing up on an arable farm. Farming makes you expert at discussing the weather – perfect for British small talk!
Travel is a passion and Emma has been to 52 countries so far and is ready for more!
